Fundamentals:

The new version of DIN 18 800 part 4 is valid for shell designs made of steel and other metallic materials. In contrast to the previous DASt guideline 013, the regulation range was redefined and the current research results were taken into account.

Program features:

The program covers the complete DIN 18 800 part 4 and permits the load-bearing capacity analysis for the limit of instability (buckling safety proof) of unreinforced cylindrical, conical or spherical shells. The calculation also includes the geometrical progression of structural objects.
